My Life and Life Supply
I am a nineteen year old from West Monroe, Louisiana. I was not raised in a Christian home, yet I received the Lord at the age of twelve. It wasn't until I was eighteen that I attended a denomination consistently, searching for the Lord. Within a few months I began to see the hypocrisy there and desired to move on seeking something real of the Lord.
During my last year in high school, my art teacher recommended me as an artist on a computer project with her sister who met with the local church. After staying with their family for a week, I realized they had just what I had been searching for. I saw them enjoying Christ daily, not just twice a week! Their home life matched their churchlife--not two lives but one! Christ had come to be their life and to be their life abundantly! I loved it so much that it was hard for me to leave.
Now I am staying with them for the summer and plan to attend college in Austin where there are other Christians who are just the same!
Through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, I finally understand the Bible and it's really a book of life to me. Things I never understood before became so clear to me, and even more--my enjoyment! Through calling on the Lord's name and praying His Word, the joy of my Christian life has been maintained daily. He is my life and life supply.
